42 - the answer to the universe

Happy Birthday to me! I had decided I did not like 43. 42 is a nice number. It sounds pretty. It is the answer to the universe and it's 21 again.

I have always played with age, refusing to accept 30, I continued counting in twenties. I was twenty twelve before I finally relented and accepted I needed to count in base ten again.

So, I have fished a little for compensation, and enough people have gasped 'no, you couldn't be!' for me to move on up to 43 without too many tears.
